The SFJ Awards Level 3 Award in Counter Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness is an Ofqual regulated qualification designed to build practical capability in counter terrorism protective security and organisational preparedness. Developed by SFJ Awards in collaboration with the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO), this nationally recognised qualification provides learners with the knowledge and skills required to understand terrorism threats, assess risk and implement effective protective security measures within their organisation. It supports organisations in strengthening security, improving preparedness and building a safer and more resilient operating environment. This qualification is aligned with current UK counter terrorism guidance and has been designed to support organisations preparing for the requirements of the Terrorism Protection of Premises Act 2025. It provides the knowledge and understanding needed to enhance readiness and reduce vulnerability across venues, sites and organisations.
